I did not intend to turn this blog into a restaurant site. I like writing about restaurants, and in a previous life even made a modest living doing just that, on a very modest level. I’m fortunate to spend a lot of time in restaurants – some of them good, others less so. I like it when trusted sources help me choose them carefully, and am happy when someone likes a place I recommend.
Still, I feel like I’ve digressed. I re-read some of my initial posts on this blog, and feel like I’ve strayed from some of the reasons I started this rambling open monologue. I wanted to write about places. I wanted to write about experiences. I wanted to write about discoveries that come from visiting new places, or from looking at familiar places in new ways.
